Dalian Medical University was incorporated into Dalian University in 1949 and named Medical School of Dalian University. Dalian Medical University is located in South Lushun Road, Dalian, Liaoning Province. It was separated from Dalian University in 1950 and named Dalian Medical School. Now it has been a medical university with main feature of medicine education and comprehensive development of several subjects including science, engineering, management, art, law and philosophy, etc.
The library comprises about 1,010,900 volumes. It totally has 21 colleges (departments) , 18 affiliated hospitals and 23 undergraduate program. Clinical medicine of our school has been ranked top 1% of ESI global institutional rankings for 5 years since 2012. It has more than 14,000 full-time students, including more than 4,500 postgraduates, 8,200 undergraduates and 1,300 overseas students. International students from more than 40 countries are studying in Dalian Medical University. Admission Criteria & Requirements:
The Bachelor degree program in English covers both MBBS and BDS. 100 students will be recruited for the MBBS program and 30 to 35 students for the BDS program.
Applicant should be between 18-25 years old, healthy, have completed their senior high school courses with good marks, and have solid financial support to afford the study and living expenses in China. Chemistry, physics, biology, English are compulsory subjects. In addition, math is a reference subject for admission evaluation. Interview will be conducted by Dalian Medical university officials, after successful interview university will issue Pre-Admission Letter.
